MOTORRAD: OZY 30x – Australia’s electric enduro impresses with torque and design
German magazine MOTORRAD takes a close look at the OZY 30x, the new electric enduro motorcycle from Perth-based startup ON Powersports. With the name hinting at its Australian origin, the OZY 30x enters the European scene with bold specs and a lightweight design.
The bike delivers 32 kW (approx. 43 HP) and a massive 707 Nm of torque to the rear wheel — all without a gearbox. It reaches up to 110 km/h and features six ride modes to adjust for terrain and rider ability. The 4.4 kWh battery offers between 1 to 3 hours of ride time depending on intensity and includes regenerative braking. Charging takes 1.5 to 2 hours.
Weighing just 120 kg, the OZY 30x rides on a chrome-moly frame, long-travel suspension, and knobby tires. The Standard Edition includes parts from G-ForceX and Yuanxing, while the Factory Edition boasts KYB suspension, Pirelli tires, Excel wheels, Renthal bars, and Nissin brakes.
Planned for European launch with street-legal potential, the OZY 30x is priced from €8,399 for the Standard and €10,399 for the Factory Edition.
