Yahoo / Interesting Engineering: OZY 30x electric dirt bike hits 68 mph with 42 HP of clean off-road power
Interesting Engineering, featured on Yahoo News, spotlights the launch of the OZY 30x by ON Powersports, an electric dirt bike built for rugged off-road action with a sustainable twist. Delivering up to 42.9 horsepower and a top speed of 110 km/h (68 mph), the OZY 30x is tuned for both enduro trails and motocross tracks.
Its 4.4 kWh battery allows for up to 3 hours of trail riding or about 1 hour on high-intensity motocross, with recharge times between 1.5 and 2 hours. While smaller than the Stark Varg’s 6.5 kWh pack, the OZY 30x still offers enough endurance for most off-road riders.
Currently available in grey, the bike will soon expand to include motocross, rally, and supermoto variants, as teased by ON Powersports. Riders in Western Australia can view the OZY 30x at Moto Dynamics, while international availability is forthcoming.
